Speaking of names, the Turd (ha, this is my "word" as of late) has been a pill lately! There were a few days in a row where she was just TERRIBLE and I could not for the life of me figure out what was wrong with her. I fed her, I changed her, I gave her water and/or milk, I played with her, she had taken her nap (etc, etc.) and yet she was the most grumpilicious thing I had ever laid eyes on! Finally, I looked in her mouth. Yep. There they were. Those evil... EVIL.. little teeth. FOUR eye/canine teeth coming in! Two have come through and two are on their way to breaking through the gums. Are those the most painful things in the world or what?! Additionally, she has had some sort of viral thing going on, says her doctor. Great! I guess that's what I get for *wanting* another baby already. The Lord's going, "Really? You think you're ready for another? Let me just strike that desire out of your heart..." Zap! I'm stricken! (Ha! I can't help but to want another baby, but I know that we are definitely NOT ready for another!) It doesn't help that 3 of my lady friends are either pregnant or just had a newborn baby! And one of them has a daughter just a bit older than mine. Two of those ladies are due in November! (The other just gave birth a week and a half ago.) OHhhhh, babbieeezzzz.. ;]
Anyway! Tonight is Monday Night Football night, which means the hubby is currently at Native New Yorker with the boys from the youth group teasing each other about their Fantasy Football Teams/Picks, etc. Boys will be boys! :P Also, that means that I have a sewing project underway! I asked the hubby to stop by Wal Mart (as he has my car) to pick up a curtain rod and 2 twin flat white sheets.. he did! Yay! I'm going to make Evelynn some curtains for her room.. *finally*-- following THIS DIY Tutorial. I hope mine ends up looking as great as hers! I'm just doing one tonight (or starting one anyway), and if it ends up well then I will do another for the other side of the window. :) Fun! :D
